A Does Not Meet rating means that even based on more current financial information, the school is not currently meeting the standard or concerns previously identified, although not currently manifested, have been of a depth or duration that warrants continued attention. Falls Far Below Standard A Falls Far Below rating indicates that upon further review following a preliminary Pending rating, the Commission identifies significant financial risk and has concerns about financial viability such that heightened monitoring and/or intervention are necessary. The school’s rating will be based on both the most recent audited financials and more current unaudited financials. The Commission will also consider any relevant context for the school’s financial position that informs the causes of the school’s substantial shortcomings for the area in question. Appropriate monitoring and/intervention will be determined, in part, by how the rating on the standard in question fits within the school’s overall performance on the framework.
Does Not Meet Standard. The school has failed to implement the program in the manner described above; the failure(s) were material, but the board has instituted remedies that have resulted in compliance or prompt and sufficient movement toward compliance to the satisfaction of the authorizer.
Does Not Meet Standard. There is evidence to indicate the school does not, or at some point in the school year did not, meet the criteria statements described for the indicator and the school failed to submit evidence of correction and/or a corrective action plan within 30 days of notification OR the school failed to implement the corrective action plan OR the non-compliance is repeated from the prior evaluation. Schools receive an overall organizational performance rating of either “Meets Standard” or “Does Not Meet Standard”. If a school receives “Does Not Meet Standard” ratings for three more indicators, the school will receive an overall organizational framework rating of “Does Not Meet Standard”. Fewer than three such ratings will result in an overall rating of “Meets Standard.” In addition, if a school receives a “Does Not Meet Standard”, on any indicator, CSD and PEC may conduct a closer review the following year on that indicator, and/or the PEC may require the school to submit a corrective action plan in order to specify actions and a timeline to correct the performance deficiency.
