Employees may be required to furnish a doctor's certificate after three (3) consecutive days, or more, of absence to substantiate the approval of sick leave, at the employer's expense. A physical examination may be required by a physician before return to work, at the employer's expense. Only basic work days shall be paid and charged against sick leave.
