DOCKING Sample Clauses
The Docking clause defines the rules and responsibilities related to the mooring and securing of vessels at a dock or port facility. It typically outlines procedures for assigning docking spaces, the obligations of the vessel operator regarding safe docking practices, and any fees or requirements for using the dock. For example, it may specify who is responsible for damages during docking or set time limits for how long a vessel can remain docked. The core function of this clause is to ensure orderly and safe use of docking facilities, allocate responsibility for potential risks, and prevent disputes over dock usage.
