Common use of Dock Clause in Contracts

Dock. At a minimum, the Contractor’s Drydock / Graving Dock shall meet the following criteria: 1. Lift capacity of 7,500 long tons; 2. Clearance between wing walls of 108’-0” to permit lowering of dragarms; and 3. Keel block height of not less than 6’-0”. If a graving dock is used to perform work under this job order, the Contractor shall meet the operational equivalent of the drydock standards described above. Clearance of a minimum of 108’-0” between wing walls shall be maintained from Drydock floor to top of wing wall.
