Dividends, Distributions and Redemptions. The Custodian shall promptly release funds or securities: (a) upon receipt of Proper Instructions, to one or more Distribution Accounts designated by the applicable Fund or Funds in such Proper Instructions; or (b) upon receipt of Special Instructions, as otherwise directed by the applicable Fund or Funds, for the purpose of the payment of dividends or other distributions to shareholders of each applicable Portfolio, and payment to shareholders who have requested repurchase or redemption of their shares of the Portfolio(s) (collectively, the "Shares"). For purposes of this Agreement, a "Distribution Account" shall mean an account established at a Banking Institution designated by the applicable Fund on behalf of one or more of its Portfolios in Special Instructions.
