DISTRICT/UNION RELATIONS. This Agreement is intended to promote, and shall be so construed and interpreted as to carry out the following general purposes: promote harmonious relations between the parties and other employee groups; establish and maintain an orderly collective bargaining procedure; work to provide the best possible transit service for the investing general public and patrons of the system; prompt and fair disposition of all grievances and disputes; and adhere to this Agreement. The parties hereby acknowledge that this Agreement represents an amicable understanding reached by the parties utilizing the interest-based negotiations process of cooperatively seeking mutually acceptable solutions to issues and concerns. To further the labor- management relationship, the parties have committed to continuing the use of the interest- based principles in the administration of this agreement.

  • District Responsibilities With respect to all sums deducted by the District pursuant to authorization of the employee, whether for membership dues or equivalent fees, the District agrees promptly to remit such monies to the Association together with an alphabetical list of unit members for who such deductions have been made, categorizing them as to membership or non-membership in the Association, and indicating any changes in personnel from the list previously furnished.

  • Employer Union Relations No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the Employer without the proper authorization of the Union. To implement this, the Union shall supply the Employer with the names of its officers and similarly, the Employer shall supply the Union with a list of its supervisory or other personnel with whom the Union may be required to transact business.

  • Union Management Relations Any changes deemed necessary in this Agreement may be made by mutual agreement of the parties at any time during the life of this Agreement.

  • Community Relations Chancellor shall establish and maintain an appropriate community relations program. Chancellor shall attend important college and community events, develop relationships with other key public and private agencies in each of the District's relevant communities where colleges are located and be significantly involved in the District's relevant local communities.

  • UNION COOPERATION The Union, as well as the members thereof, agree at all times as fully as it may be within their power, to further the interests of the Employer.
