Common use of Discount Rates Clause in Contracts

Discount Rates. McLeodUSA shall be permitted to purchase all Telecommunications Services that BellSouth provides at retail to subscribers that are not Telecommunications Carriers at a wholesale discount rate off of the retail rate for the Telecommunications Service. The wholesale discount shall be as set forth in Exhibit A to this Attachment, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Such discount shall reflect the costs avoided or avoidable by BellSouth when selling a service for wholesale purposes as established by the applicable state Commissions.
