Common use of Disclosure by Law Clause in Contracts

Disclosure by Law. Any portion of Confidential Information required by law to be disclosed, may be disclosed to the extent so required; provided that the Party making such disclosure of the other Party’s portion of Confidential Information shall give maximum practical advance notice of same to the other Party hereunder and shall request maximum protective confidential treatment of such disclosure from the recipient thereof as may be afforded by law.
