Disaster Management. 1. The Parties recognise the need to minimise the impact of natural and man-made disasters. The Parties affirm their common commitment to promoting prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery measures in order to increase the resilience of their societies and infrastructures, and to cooperate, as appropriate, at bilateral and multilateral level to progress towards such objectives.
