Disability Allowances. The disability allowances in clause 9.3 shall be paid irrespective of the times at which the work is performed, and shall not be subject to any premium or penalty additions. Where an allowance is to be paid to compensate for a disability, such as hot work, cold work, working at heights etc, unless otherwise specifically provided for in this Agreement, the allowance shall only be paid for such time as the person is exposed to the disability. Where more than one of the disability allowances provides payments for disabilities of substantially the same nature, then only the highest of such rates shall be payable unless otherwise provided.
