Common use of Directing Requests Clause in Contracts

Directing Requests. Written requests to initiate negotiations shall be made to the Superintendent or to the Local President, respectively. Such requests may only be submitted during the period of sixty (60) to one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the expiration of this Agreement. A mutually convenient meeting date shall be set within fifteen (15) days of the date of the request.

Such requests to initiate negotiations shall be made to the Local Superintendent or his/her designee or to the Local Association President. Upon written request by either party for a meeting to open negotiations, respectively.
