Common use of DIR Registration Clause in Contracts

DIR Registration. Strict compliance with all DIR registration requirements in accordance with Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 is a material obligation of the Contractor and all of its subcontractors (of any tier) under the Contract Documents. The foregoing includes, without limitation, compliance with DIR registration requirements at all times during performance of the Work by the Contractor and all of its subcontractors of any tier. The failure of the Contractor and all subcontractors of any tier to be properly registered with DIR at all times during performance of the Work is a material breach of the Contract and subject to termination for cause.
