(a) Application Processing by Company When an application is filed for a Benefit or Separation Payment under the Plan and the Company is furnished with the evidence and information required, the Company shall determine the Employee’s entitlement to a Benefit or a Separation Payment.

The Company shall advise the Employee of the number of Credit Units cancelled for each Regular Benefit or a Separation Paymentpayment and the number of Credit Units remaining to the Employee's credit after such payment.
