Detailing. The plan sheets will be prepared in CADD according to the County’s and Caltrans’ drafting standards. Plans will be prepared in English or metric units and will be consistent with Caltrans’ Standard Plans. This involves a completely independent analysis of the project using the unchecked bridge detailed plans and 65% roadway plans by an engineer that has not been intimately involved in the design. This is a big part of the Team’s Plan and is identical to the Agency process. Based upon the independent check and agreement to revisions by the checker and designer, the plans will be revised.
