Designated Use Clause Samples

The Designated Use clause defines the specific purpose or manner in which a product, service, or property may be used under the agreement. It typically outlines permitted activities, restrictions, or limitations, such as allowing a leased property to be used only for retail operations or specifying that software may only be used for internal business purposes. By clearly stating the intended use, this clause helps prevent misuse, reduces ambiguity, and protects the interests of both parties by ensuring the asset is not used in unauthorized or unintended ways.
