A Dependability/Reliability clause establishes the requirement that a party’s products, services, or performance must consistently meet certain standards of reliability and function as intended over time. This clause typically outlines specific metrics or benchmarks for uptime, error rates, or failure response, and may require regular reporting or maintenance to ensure ongoing reliability. Its core practical function is to assure the other party that they can rely on the consistent performance of the goods or services, thereby reducing the risk of disruptions or failures that could impact business operations.
Dependability/Reliability a. Attendance and punctuality.
b. Zero unauthorized absences each quarter.
c. No more than three (3) non-scheduled days of leave absence per quarter.
Dependability/Reliability a. Zero unauthorized absences for the quarter. Any employee who is absent from duty shall report the reason therefore to his supervisor as soon as possible.
b. No more than three (3) non-scheduled periods of absence per quarter. When an employee calls in sick, only the first day of any consecutive, related sick days shall count. For example, if an employee is absent for three (3) days and called in properly on the first, only one (1) of the three

For example, if an employee is absent for three days and called in properly on the first, only one of the three days will count as a non-scheduled absence in this category. Upon the successful completion of eight (8) cumulative or rolling quarters, an employee shall receive a wage increase equal to six and one-half percent (6-1/2%) of the employee’s current base rate of pay. The employee shall then be eligible to enter into the second step of the Performance Step Program.
