Delivery Drivers. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license in the appropriate completed class. A background check must be done by the provider on all staff who interact with meal participants of County programs including drivers and driver’s assistants, whether employed directly by the provider or subcontracted. All staff interacting with meal participants must, at all times, have proper identification that is clearly visible by the participant. County reserves the right to review any personnel files of staff interacting directly with participants and the right to reject staff for Home-Delivered Meals Program.
