Common use of Delegate Rights Clause in Contracts

Delegate Rights. (a) Masterpet recognises the Union delegate(s) who are elected by the employees as the on- site representatives of the Union, and whose names have been forwarded in writing to Masterpet by the appropriate Union. (b) Delegates on-site business (i) Delegates of the Union will be allowed, such paid time as is necessary to conduct legitimate on-site Union business with employees, Masterpet or Masterpet's representative. Delegates shall have reasonable access to resources to perform their role, including access to a private meeting room and telephone. Access to email will also be provided as long as its use is responsible and for reasonable Union purposes only. A specific computer will be allocated for this purpose. (ii) Wherever possible, this on-site business shall be conducted at times that are suitable to the relevant Manager/Supervisor and Delegate(s). The Union or the delegates will have access to new employees during the induction process.

Delegates shall have reasonable access to resources to perform their role, including access to a private meeting room room, and telephone. Access to email will also be provided as long as its use is responsible and for reasonable Union purposes only. A specific computer will be allocated for this purpose. (ii) Wherever possible, this on-site business shall be conducted at times that are suitable to the relevant Manager/Supervisor and Delegate(s). The Delegate(s).The Union or the delegates will have access to new employees and labour hire workers during the induction process.
