Common use of Delegate Rights Clause in Contracts

Delegate Rights. All employees who are members of the UWU shall be entitled to elect union delegates to represent them. The employer shall recognise elected union delegates as the on site representative of the union. The union will be given reasonable opportunity to recruit new workers as members. The delegate will be provided reasonable time to conduct site related union business on or off site subject to prior and acceptable arrangements with Management. The Company agrees to the use of notice boards by the union delegate or by the union to post notices on.
