Common use of Deferral of Progression ( Clause in Contracts

Deferral of Progression (. Absences from Work) When an employee has been absent from work for a period in excess of three (3) months, excluding approved vacation, his/her progression may be deferred without prior notice for a period of time not to exceed the length of the absence. Subsequent progression dates may be adjusted accordingly.
