Defacing Premises Clause Samples
The Defacing Premises clause prohibits tenants or occupants from marking, painting, or otherwise altering the appearance of the leased property without the landlord's consent. This typically covers actions such as graffiti, unauthorized signage, or structural modifications that affect the property's visual condition. By including this clause, landlords ensure the premises are maintained in their original state, protecting property value and minimizing restoration costs at the end of the lease.
