Common use of Deduction Clause in Contracts

Deduction. A deduction is made from the current year's gratuity credits for all days absent on sick leave with pay, except that such deduction shall not exceed 32 hours in any one calendar year, nor more than 8 hours in any quarter of any one calendar year, or for any one illness.
