Common use of Deadline Dates Clause in Contracts

Deadline Dates. The parties agree to enter into collective negotiations over a successor agreement in accordance with Chapter 123, Public Laws of 1974, in a good faith effort to reach agreement on all matters concerning the terms and conditions of employment of supervisory personnel. Negotiations shall begin in the fiscal year of the current contract with a meeting to be held at a mutually satisfactory place within 15 days after receipt of a notice of intent to commence negotiations. Said notice shall not be given prior to October 15 of such year. The parties can mutually agree to an extension of time.
