Custody and protection of GOODS. The SUPPLIER shall store, safeguard and prevent deterioration of the GOODS (including GOODS which VF is unable to accept delivery of at the time such are due for delivery) until they are shipped to VF. The SUPPLIER shall provide at its own cost all necessary packing to protect the GOODS and shall be responsible for ensuring the GOODS are properly packed and secured and received by VF in an acceptable condition. The SUPPLIER shall ensure that all packages containing heavy or perishable materials carry the appropriate warning marks and wording.

  • Safety and Protection 8.18.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the Work.
