Curriculum Development Compensation. General curriculum and program development and maintenance are a part of each faculty member’s base work load. In cases where the amount of work involved in developing a new course or series of courses exceeds the amount expected as a part of general curriculum and program maintenance, the supervising administrator may offer additional compensation, subject to the following provisions: A. In order to facilitate flexibility, the compensation amount offered may vary based on the individual needs associated with each development project. B. Course development work beyond general curriculum and program development and maintenance is optional for faculty members.
