Current Shifts. CSEA and the District agree that the shifts in effect on November 8, 2000 shall be rotated on a 4–month basis effective January 1 of each year. Any future changes in the established shifts shall only be made by mutual agreement of CSEA and the District.
Current Shifts. 28 A. First shift: Eight (8) consecutive hours beginning at 6:00 29 a. m. 30 B. Second shift: Eight (8) consecutive hours beginning at 31 2:00 p.m. 32 C. Third shift: Eight (8) consecutive hours beginning 10:00 33 p.m. (the work week, i.e. Monday through Friday, for the 34 third shift starts before first shift Monday not after second 35 shift Monday. Third shift will normally start Sunday 1 evening and such time on Sunday is considered as 2 occurring on Monday).
Current Shifts. (a) It is understood that units are currently staffed with four hour shifts six hour shifts, eight hour shifts10 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts and combinations of four hour, six hour, eight hour, 10 hour and 12 hour shifts. (b) It is also understood that a limited number of nurses are currently scheduled for 16 hour shifts. No change will be made in the schedule of those nurses without their consent. Going forward, no nurse who has not regularly been scheduled for 16 hour shifts, and no newly- hired nurses, will regularly be scheduled for a 16 hour shift. (c) The Hospital shall not change shifts or start and end times without agreement of the Union. This provision shall expire upon the expiration of this Agreement shall be of no further effect unless specifically renewed by the agreement of the parties. (d) An employee shall not be scheduled to work within 12 hours after the scheduled end time of the employee’s last regularly scheduled eight hour shift and within 11 hours of the scheduled end time of a 10 or 12 hour shift.
