Common use of Credit Union Deductions Clause in Contracts

Credit Union Deductions. 19.1 The Employer agrees to deduct from the salary of an employee an amount authorized in writing by the employee which shall be within the minimum and maximum amounts specified by the Comptroller and to transmit such funds to a bona fide credit union. The sums transmitted shall be used for appropriate purposes and their specific allocation shall be determined by an arrangement between the employee and his credit union. The authorization for such deductions may be withdrawn by an employee at any time upon filing of a written notice of such withdrawal with the State Comptroller. The deductions shall be in accordance with reasonable rules and regulations of the Comptroller not inconsistent with law which may be necessary for the exercise of this authority under this Article.
