CREATION OF THE CALIFORNIA TRANSIT SYSTEMS JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY. Pursuant to Government Code Section 6500 et seq., the Parties to this Agreement hereby create a public entity separate and apart from the Parties. This public entity created by this Agreement shall be known as the California Transit Systems Joint Powers Authority.
