Common use of Coverage Extensions Clause in Contracts

Coverage Extensions. The amount of insurance specified in the “Declarations Page” that corresponds with the coverage extension is the maximum recovery for any extension of coverage in respect of any “one breakdown” occurring during the policy period. If any extension of coverage is indicated as NOT INSURED on the “Declarations Page” then no coverage will be afforded by those extensions. The coverage extensions: (a) do not apply if they are more specifically insured as specified on the “Declarations Page” or by endorsement; and (b) unless otherwise specified on the “Declarations Page” or by endorsement; (i) are a part of and do not increase the amount of insurance shown on the “Declarations Page” for the Equipment Breakdown Coverage Form; (ii) are not subject to Special Condition 2, Co-Insurance of Section V; and (iii) are subject to the highest applicable deductible of the Equipment Breakdown Coverage Form.
