Common use of Copies of Notices to Owner Clause in Contracts

Copies of Notices to Owner. Wherever the Contract Documents provide that a copy of any notice, request, or demand filed with the Design Professional or Program Manager by the CM/GC shall be furnished to the Owner, such notice, request, or demand shall not become effective until the Owner has received his copy. No notice in writing or given orally to the Design Professional or to the Contract Compliance Specialist is notice to the Owner unless copy of the aforesaid notice in writing shall have been properly served upon the Owner at the address shown in the Contract.
