Common use of COPE Contributions Clause in Contracts

COPE Contributions. Upon receipt of a lawfully executed written authorization by the employee or until such authority is revoked by the employee, contribution to the SEIU Committee on Political Education, managed and operated by the Union, will be deposited by electronic transfer to an eligible ACH Clearing House account designated and managed by the Union in the amount designated by the employee. Such contributions shall be made by electronic transfer from the employee's pay each pay period. The SEIU Committee on Political Education shall refund to the employee any contributions, which may have been transferred erroneously, or any monies, which may be remitted erroneously.
