Conversion Factor. For all employees who have worked at least five (5) consecutive years in the District, all sick leave accumulated by the employee up to a maximum of one hundred eighty (180) days, may be converted to severance pay and paid as such on the basis of one (1) day of severance pay for each four (4) days of unused and accumulated sick leave.
