Common use of Contractor’s Power and Authority Clause in Contracts

Contractor’s Power and Authority. ‌ Contractor represents and warrants to the State that Contractor has full power and authority to grant the rights herein granted. Further, Contractor avers that it will not enter into any arrangement with any third party which might abridge any rights of the State under this Contract. The Services provided by Contractor shall be under the control, management, and supervision of Contractor. Contractor is fully responsible for all work performed under this Contract including subcontracted work. Contractor is wholly responsible for the performance of its employees, agents, subcontractors and suppliers in fulfilling its obligations described in this Contract.
