Contractor Assignment Clause Samples

The Contractor Assignment clause governs the conditions under which a contractor may transfer their rights or obligations under the contract to another party. Typically, this clause requires the contractor to obtain the client's written consent before assigning any part of the agreement, ensuring that the client maintains control over who performs the contracted work. By setting these requirements, the clause helps prevent unwanted substitutions and ensures that the client receives services from the originally agreed-upon party, thereby maintaining quality and accountability.
