CONTRACT OWNER. The Contract Owner has all rights under this Contract. The Contract Owner is designated as such on the Issue Date, unless changed. The Contract Owner may change owners at any time prior to the Annuity Date by Written Request. A change of Contract Owner will automatically revoke any prior designation of Contract Owner. The change will become effective as of the date the Written Request is signed. A new designation of Contract Owner will not apply to any payment made or action taken by the Company prior to the time it was received.
CONTRACT OWNER. The authorized representative of LES who is assigned to be LES’ designated representative for day-to-day matters pertaining to the services provided under this Contract and charged with surveillance of all work performed hereunder on its behalf.

If the Contract is owned by Joint Contract Owners, the Age of the oldest Joint Contract Owner will be used to determine all applicable benefits. Both Joint Contract Owner signatures will be required to exercise any contractual right. ASSIGNMENT OF THE CONTRACT A Written Request by the Contract Owner specifying the terms of an assignment of this Contract must be provided to the Annuity Service Center. Until the Written Request is received, the Company will not be required to take notice of or be responsible for any transfer of interest in this Contract by assignment, agreement, or otherwise. The Company will not be responsible for the validity or tax consequences of any assignment. Any assignment made after the death benefit has become payable will be valid only with the Company’s consent. If this Contract is assigned, the Contract Owner’s rights may only be exercised with the consent of the assignee of record.
CONTRACT OWNER. The named Contract Owner as shown on the Data Pages. The Contract Owner may exercise all of the rights and privileges under the Contract. All ownership rights with respect to any issued Certificate shall belong to the Certificate Owner, or the annuity Beneficiary as may be designated under the terms of the Certificate or determined through the operation of law.

CONTRACT OWNER. Port staff member responsible for managing the On-Call Contract and executing all Task Orders.
CONTRACT OWNER. Orange County, Florida, Board operates eleven (11) sites for which security guard services are required. Upon contract execution, the Safety Administrator and Building Operations Manager, Utilities Department, or designee will serve as the Administrator of the Security Guard contract. The County reserves the right to add additional locations to the contract during the contract term.
CONTRACT OWNER. The Annuitant is the Owner of the Contract unless some other person(s) is(are) named as Owner on page 3. The Owner has all rights under the Contract unless otherwise provided. JOINT OWNER The Contract may be owned by two persons as Joint Owners. In this case, both Joint Owners must consent to any withdrawals, surrenders or changes to the Contract or beneficiary. CONTINGENT OWNER If you are the Owner but are not the Annuitant, you may name a Contingent Owner to take over as Owner upon your death. The naming of a Contingent Owner will not take effect until we record it at the Home Office. We are not responsible for the tax consequences resulting from the change of the Owner.
CONTRACT OWNER any party who (1) owns (or is considered as owning within the meaning of Section 318 of the Internal Revenue Code) more than ten (10) percent of the capital or profits or interest in an employer which is not a corporation. For purposes of this definition, the constructive ownership rules of Section (i)(1)(B)(iii) of the Internal Revenue Code shall apply. If an individual is considered to be an Owner at any time during the term of this Contract, the individual will always be considered as such for purposes of this Contract.
CONTRACT OWNER. The person(s) named on the cover of this Contract, to whom this Contract is delivered.
