CONTRACT DESIGN PERFORMANCE RISK Sample Clauses
CONTRACT DESIGN PERFORMANCE RISK. For the purpose of developing the contract design package and obtaining ABS review and approval, parts and equipment displayed were coordinated with commercial suppliers. The Government assumes the performance risk for the systems as they are shown on the contract drawings and described in this specification. In addition, all of the items shown on the contract drawings were a part of the ABS review. The Contractor shall provide and install all of the systems as they are shown on the contract drawings. All major pieces of equipment have performance characteristics shown on the contract drawings or described in the specifications. If the Contractor selects equipment that is not as shown on the contract drawings or described in this specification, he shall be responsible for ensuring the overall system(s) performance is maintained, submitting cut sheets and details to the Government for review and approval; and if necessary re-engineering of the system(s) and revising of the drawings, and coordinating with ABS for class review and approval. For further details see contract Clause H15. All scientific data shall be provided in United States Customary System units of measurement (pounds, long tons, and feet).
