Continuous work. In consideration of the Union’s execution of this Agreement, the Employer promises its operations covered by this Agreement shall not be sold, conveyed, or otherwise transferred or assigned to any successor without first securing the agreement of the successor to assume the Employer’s obligations under this Agreement.

Continuous work. Design-Build Entity shall, notwithstanding the existence of a Claim by Design-Build Entity, maintain continuous performance, without interruption, suspension or slowing, of the Work and its other obligations (1) pending issuance of a Good Faith Determination of the Claim and (2) thereafter in compliance with the terms of such Good Faith Determination.

(a) A shift must not exceed eight ordinary hours of work (exclusive of meal breaks and any additional breaks) unless research and trials have established the efficiency and effectiveness of such shifts in relation to the health unit operations and have assessed the impact of such shifts on the quality of nursing services and the occupational health of employees, and unless there is agreement with the majority of employees affected by changes in shift length and there has been consultation with the relevant union. (b) The provisions of this sub-clause as they relate to shift length may be set aside for specified periods of time by agreement between the health unit and the majority of employees affected by changes in shift length and after consultation with the relevant union, to allow research and trials of the nature prescribed in this sub-clause relating to shift lengths.

Continuous work. ‌ Any employee required to work over sixteen (16) continuous hours, will receive for any hours worked over sixteen (16) hours pay at double the normal rate.

Continuous work. After commencement of construction of the Works of Improvement (or separate portion thereof), Developer shall cause such work to be diligently pursued to completion, and shall not abandon the work for a consecutive period or more than thirty (30) days, events of Force Majeure excepted.

Continuous work. A meal break of 30 minutes shall be allowed when a bargaining unit member works continuously for 3 hours before or after the termination of their regular shift.

Continuous work. To provide for continuous work during peak periods, start and finish times may be staggered on a rostered basis from time to time to allow for an afternoon shift per day. For the purpose of this clause an afternoon shift means a shift starting at or after 11.30am. Employees working the afternoon shift of the roster shall be entitled to a Shift Allowance prescribed in clause 13.1.8. This is an alternative working arrangement for peak periods.

Continuous work. (a) Shift workers shall work at such times as the Company may require. (b) A shift shall consist of not more than 12 hours inclusive of crib time. This number of hours may be altered as to all or a section of Employees by the Company to suit the circumstances of the plant following consultation with the affected Employees. (c) 20 minutes shall be allowed to shift workers each shift for crib and a further 2 breaks of 10 minutes each which shall be counted as time worked.
