Common use of Continuous Assignment Clause in Contracts

Continuous Assignment. In the event that a Teacher Teaching On Call assignment is interrupted by the return of a teacher, who after one (1) day is absent again for the same reason as the original absence, the Board will endeavour to assign the Teacher Teaching On Call to that position and the assignment shall proceed as if it were uninterrupted.

Continuous Assignment. a. In the event that a Teacher Teaching On Call teacher-teaching-on-call‘s assignment is interrupted by the return of a teacher, teacher who after one (1) day subsequently is absent again for after no more than two working days, and the same reason as teacher-teaching-on-call has performed the original absenceduties in a satisfactory manner, then the Board will endeavour to assign the Teacher Teaching On Call to that position teacher-teaching-on-call shall be reassigned and the assignment shall proceed as if it were uninterruptedhas not been broken for salary purposes.

In the event that a Teacher Teaching On Call on Call’s assignment is interrupted by the return of a teacher, teacher who after one (1) day subsequently is absent again for the same reason as the original absenceafter no more than two working days, the Board will endeavour to assign and the Teacher Teaching On on Call to that position has performed the duties in a satisfactory manner, then the Teacher Teaching on Call shall be reassigned and the assignment shall proceed as if it were uninterruptedhas not been broken for salary purposes.

In the event that a the assignment of the Teacher Teaching On Call assignment is interrupted after five (5) teaching days by the return of a teacher, teacher who after one (1) day subsequently is absent again for the same reason as within two (2) working days, the original absence, the Board will endeavour to assign the Teacher Teaching On Call to that position Call, if available, shall be recalled and the assignment shall proceed as if it were uninterruptedhas not been broken for salary or contract provisions which depend upon the length of assignment.

In the event that a Teacher Teaching On Call teacher teaching on call’s assignment is interrupted by the return of a teacher, teacher who after one (1) day subsequently is absent again for within two (2) working days, and the teacher teaching on call is reassigned to the same reason as assignment, on or before the original absencethird day, the Board will endeavour to assign the Teacher Teaching On Call to that position and the assignment shall proceed as if it were uninterruptedhad not been broken for salary provisions or contract provisions which depend upon the length of the assignment.
