Continuing Education Training Sample Clauses

The Continuing Education/Training clause requires employees or contractors to participate in ongoing learning or skill development activities relevant to their roles. This may involve attending workshops, completing certification programs, or engaging in periodic training sessions mandated by the employer. The core purpose of this clause is to ensure that personnel maintain up-to-date knowledge and competencies, thereby supporting organizational effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.
Continuing Education Training. Continuing education training is training that an Employee needs to take to maintain a license or certification. With prior approval by the State Entity, Employees who have completed their probationary period shall be granted paid time to attend continuing education programs required for their position. Taking into account the expiration of the license or certification, the Employee must request continuing education training at least 30 days in advance of the training when possible. Approval by the State Entity shall not be unreasonably denied.
Continuing Education Training. The training required to maintain the NERC certification continuing education requirement at the TO level (currently 140 hours over three years) and RC level (currently 200 hours over three years) will be provided by the Company. Company has designed and developed a portion of the training modules. For the remainder of the training, NERC certified SOs will have the opportunity to participate in the design and development process. This continuing education training will be provided during the regularly scheduled training weeks. Beginning in 2016, the continuing education training schedule will be posted prior to the March 15 annual vacation sign up period so that operators may consider it when planning and scheduling vacation.

Employees are encouraged to complete a quarterly refresher course a minimum of ninety (90) days prior to their certification expiration date. In the event the employer is unable to provide a quarterly refresher course, impacted employees whose certifications are in danger of expiring shall be reimbursed the cost of an external refresher course. Employees are expected to maintain all certifications in accordance with applicable, local, state and federal laws, even if it means taking a course from an outside entity at the employee’s expense. Employees who fail to maintain required certifications may be subject to termination. In the event the Employer’s mandatory internal training course(s) are only held during a unit member's assigned shift, the employee shall be removed from shift with pay or sent on duty to attend the required training at the employer’s discretion. The employee may be returned to their shift following completion of the course where appropriate. Employees are encouraged to make every attempt to attend mandatory training such that attendance does not conflict with their regularly scheduled shift. Participation in Employer required training shall be paid as hours worked for the greater of two

Continuing Education Training. For any training that Comcast requests Vendor to perform because of changes to Comcast products and services or changes to Comcast policies and procedures or refresher training (collectively “Continuing Education Training” or “CET”), Comcast will make such request to Vendor in writing in the locked forecast process noted in the Forecasting Section. The parties will mutually agree upon the length and substance of the training. Types of refresher training may include but is not limited to subjects related to quality reviews, customer support, call handling, product knowledge, system navigation, sales tactics, and customer service.
