Common use of Contested Billings Clause in Contracts

Contested Billings. Written notice that a bill is contested will be mailed to the billing Party within 60 days of issuance of the final bill and will fully explain the contested items. Contested items will be resolved not later than 60 days following receipt of the written notice. The uncontested portion of the bill will be paid and a new bill will be issued for the contestedamount.
