Construction Photographs. Prior to commencement of the Work the Contractor must take digital photographs and color audio-video recording to document existing conditions and submit copies in an acceptable format to the Village. Contractor must submit with each application for payment photographs that accurately reflect the progress of all aspects of the Work. The number of photographs to be taken will be based on the magnitude of the Work being performed. Contractor must submit one copy of each photograph in print and digitally. The photographs must be printed on 8” X 10” high resolution glossy commercial grade and weight color photographic print paper or in a format acceptable to the Village. Each photograph must be imprinted on its face with the title of the Project, the date, and time the picture was taken. Digital photographs must be taken using .jpeg format and will be submitted through a file-sharing site (such as Dropbox) or on a CD-ROM or flash drive clearly identifying the name of the Project, the name of the Contractor, and the timeframe in which the pictures were taken. Initial set up prints will be submitted in a three-ring binder with each picture protected by a clear plastic sleeve. Subsequent prints are to be submitted in clear plastic sleeves that can be added to the binder. The three-ring binder must be of such size to be able to hold all print pictures.
