CONSIDERED REGARD. Subject to applicable law, the faculty member's record is considered confidential and its contents are to be treated in that manner by employees of the University vested with its care, such that disclosure of the contents shall be according to the guidelines in this article. Documents contained in the faculty member's record are intended for personnel decisions, and no item shall be placed into the faculty member's record by any administrative officer without clear intent and purpose.
