Common use of Consent by Landlord Clause in Contracts

Consent by Landlord. In all circumstances under this Lease where the prior consent or permission of Landlord is required before Tenant is authorized to take any particular type of action, such consent must be in writing and unless this Lease expressly provides that such consent or permission is not to be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed, the matter of whether to grant such consent of permission shall be within the sole and exclusive judgment and discretion of Landlord, and it shall not constitute any nature of breach by Landlord under this Lease or any defense to the performance of any covenant, duty or obligation of Tenant under this Lease that Landlord delayed or withheld the granting of such consent of permission.

Consent by Landlord. In all circumstances each circumstance under this Lease where in which the prior consent or permission approval of Landlord is required before Tenant is authorized to take any particular type of action, such consent must be in writing and unless this Lease expressly provides that such consent or permission is not to be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed, the matter decision of whether to grant or deny such consent of permission or approval shall be within the sole and exclusive judgment and discretion of Landlord, and it Landlord unless otherwise specifically provided in this Lease with respect to that specific matter. Tenant shall not constitute have any nature of claim for breach by Landlord under this Lease or any defense to the performance of any covenant, duty duty, or obligation of Tenant under this Lease on the basis that Landlord delayed or withheld the granting of such consent or approval. Landlord's consent or approval to any particular act by Tenant which requires such consent or approval shall not be deemed to waive or render unnecessary consent to or approval of permissionany subsequent similar act.
