Consecutive Breach Clause Samples

The Consecutive Breach clause defines the consequences or actions triggered when a party repeatedly fails to fulfill its contractual obligations over a specified number of consecutive instances. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes a consecutive breach—such as missing several payments in a row or failing to meet performance standards over multiple periods—and may specify remedies like the right to terminate the contract or impose penalties. Its core practical function is to protect the non-breaching party by providing a clear mechanism for addressing ongoing, repeated failures, thereby reducing uncertainty and encouraging consistent compliance.
