Conceptual Engineering. The scope of work involves developing a conceptual engineering package that considers replacing circuit breakers T9-12, T10-12, 90312, 92512 (70512 National Grid name), 7B-12, and T11-12, replacing the existing breaker disconnect switches with new motor operated disconnect switches (MODs), removing breaker T11-12 from NYSEG’s Old Gardenville Station and installation of a new T11-12 breaker and associated switches on the open bay where the existing line T11 is currently connected, and installation of four (4) new single phase CCVT’s. Specifically, the following will be addressed:  Retirement of the NYSEG Old Gardenville Substation.  Relocation of Circuit Breaker position T11-12 from the NYSEG Old Gardenville Substation to the NYSEG New Gardenville Substation.  Installation of ten (10) motor operated disconnect switches; T10-14 (NG962), T11-15, 90314, 90315, T9-16, T9-14, 92514, 92515, T10-16, and T6-16 and associated P&C equipment.  Installation of Protection & Control (“P&C”) equipment to accommodate 115kV connections from NYSEG Circuit Breaker T10-12 and relocated NYSEG Circuit Breaker T11-12 to the rebuilt National Grid Gardenville 115kV Substation.  At NYSEG’s Erie Street Substation, installation of new relay and tone equipment and removal of the RFL 6745 to accommodate the 115kV connection from NYSEG’s Erie Street Substation to the rebuilt National Grid Gardenville 115kV Substation.  Installation of A & B fiber cables between the rebuilt National Grid Gardenville 115kV Substation and NYSEG New Gardenville Substation.  Installation of new A & B battery systems and new automation platform.
Conceptual Engineering. Seller shall prepare and deliver to Buyer a conceptual engineering and design package for the Project as described in the Project Requirements.
Conceptual Engineering. Collection Compilation, Review and Evaluation of Database: BLA will contact the Local Municipalities to obtain the current land uses, zonings, future plans in the area, utility, fire, school and park districts. BLA will contact ▇▇▇▇▇ to obtain utility company information in the area and request copies of their utility atlases. Traffic counts and turning movements will be observed and compiled for the peak hour volumes for a 12 hour period at the River/▇▇▇▇▇▇ intersection as well as at the ▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the Shall/River intersections. This data along with the utility plans, soils reports, Phase I Environmental report, wetland delineation, and other initial documentation will be reviewed as part of this task. Surveys: BLA Survey Staff will establish State Plane Illinois East Zone Coordinates and NAVD88 vertical control and set a minimum of 4 permanent benchmarks on the site. Survey work will then be conducted in order to obtain and plat relevant topographic and planimetric survey information including Centerline alignment monumentation, Trees 6” at breast height and larger, pavement/shoulder lines, buildings, striping, property lines, utilities, etc within the project impact area. The respective elevations of the ground surfaces will be noted as they relate to the adjacent floodplain elevations. Roadway cross sections will be taken at 50 ft station intervals along River Road from Shall Lane (▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇) to ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Road, along ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road from River Road to Highwood Drive and along ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Court from Shall Lane (▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇) to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road. No creek cross sections will be taken as part of this scope. The Roadway topography will include the ROW to ROW as well as 20’ outside the ROW in all directions. Also included in this survey are those parcels inclusive of the River/▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇/Shall (Breezy) roadways, the 6 Parcels on the south side of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road from ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Court to Forestwood Drive and the two northerly parcels on the east side of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Court. Environmental Data, Coordination, Inventory and Analysis: The following services for a wetland assessment and permit application submittal are proposed to comply with Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
