Computing. 1. Each employee shall receive one (1.0) day of paid vacation per month during the first five (5) years of service. A month, in terms of vacation accrual, is defined as an employee working more than fifty percent (50%) of the working days in the month. Employees who work fifty percent (50%) or less of the working days in a month will receive prorated vacation as defined in Education Code (45197). 2. During years six (6) – ten (10) of continuous years of service each employee shall receive one and a half (1.5) days of paid vacation per month. 3. After ten (10) years of continuous service each employee shall receive one and three-quarter (1.75) days of paid vacation per month. 4. Employee’s vacation will be prorated in accordance with the number of hours worked per day.
