Community Resources. Refers to financial assistance programs that a family may be eligible for including SR, VPK, TANF, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Head Start and Early Head Start, as well as any service that a family may qualify for that will support the family’s financial independence, assist with developmental concerns and help fill an unmet need.
