COMMONPLACES or its licensors own all intellectual property in any work published either on its website, hard copy hand-outs and digital works shown or provided to the Students. The Students shall not be allowed, without the prior written consent of COMMONPLACES to copy, distribute, or use the materials in any other way as strictly necessary for successful completion of the Course.

  • Route As set forth in 47 C.F.R. § 51.319(e), a “Route” is a transmission path between one of Verizon's Wire Centers or switches and another of Verizon's Wire Centers or switches. A route between two points (e.g., Wire Center or switch “A” and Wire Center or switch “Z”) may pass through one or more intermediate Wire Centers or switches (e.g., Wire Center or switch “X”).   • Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the following February.

  • Coma Coma benefits are not payable, nor do they accrue, during an elimination period. The Coma benefit amount is payable monthly at a rate of 1% of the benefit amount shown above until the earliest of: 1) the date the Dependent Child dies; 2) the date the Dependent Child is no longer in a Coma; or 3) total payments equal the Coma benefit amount shown above. If the Dependent Child dies as a result of the accident during the period for which this Coma benefit is payable, we will pay a lump sum equal to the Dependent Child’s loss of life benefit amount, less Coma benefit amounts already paid.

  • Headquarters 11.1 This article applies to employees who do not attend at or work at or work from any permanent ministry facility in the course of their duties, but for whom a permanent ministry facility or other place is designated as an employee’s “headquarters” for the purposes of the provisions of this Central Collective Agreement and of various allowances which require a headquarters to be specified.

  • Connecticut If You purchased this Agreement in Connecticut, You may pursue mediation to settle disputes between You and the provider of this Agreement. The written complaint must describe the dispute, identify the price of the product and cost of repair, and include a copy of this Agreement.   • Maine CANCELLATION section is amended as follows: The provider of the Agreement shall mail a written notice to the Service Agreement Holder at the last known address of the Service Agreement Holder contained in the records of the provider at least fifteen (15) days prior to cancellation by the provider. The notice must state the effective date of the cancellation and the reason for the cancellation. If an Agreement is cancelled by the provider for a reason other than nonpayment of the provider fee, the provider shall refund to the Service Agreement Holder one hundred percent (100%) of the unearned pro-rata provider fee, less any claims paid. An administrative fee not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the provider fee paid by the Service Agreement Holder may be charged by the provider. A monthly penalty equal to ten percent (10%) of the provider fee outstanding must be added to a refund that is not paid or credited within forty-five (45) days after the return of the Agreement to the provider.
