Common use of Common Concerns Committee Clause in Contracts

Common Concerns Committee. The Common Concerns Committee shall be composed of the 4 (four) Union representatives and 4 (four) Administrative representatives. If the Committee is reviewing school specific staffing, the School Principal shall be included on the Committee. The Common Concerns Committee may request the attendance of appropriate non- voting personnel who are employees of the Board. Prior to April 1st, the Common Concerns Committee shall meet to examine and make recommendations related to the number of teachers to be assigned according to the projected enrolments. The Common Concerns Committee shall meet at the following times to review the organization and the assignment of teachers to schools. The committee may also discuss matters of mutual concern, which are related to the workplace: - During September of each school year to review all staffing related data as referenced in L31.02 - During November of each school year to review October 31st data - During January of each school year - During April of each school year to review all staffing related data prior to the commencement of the Spring Staffing Process - The committee shall meet at the request of either party within five (5) school days. - All dates and timelines outlined in Article L31.04 may be extended by mutual consent of the parties of the committee.
