Commenting Clause Samples

The Commenting clause establishes the rules and procedures for providing feedback or remarks on documents, deliverables, or work products within an agreement. Typically, it outlines how parties can submit comments, the timeframe for doing so, and the method by which comments should be addressed or incorporated. For example, it may require that comments be provided in writing within a set number of days after receiving a draft. The core function of this clause is to ensure clear communication and a structured process for review, helping to prevent misunderstandings and streamline revisions.
